Radical Unschooling on TV

Discovery Health has been advertising a show called Radical Parenting and one of the radical parenting "styles" they showcased was radical unschooling. I wasn't gong to watch it. I know how manipulative tv is when it comes to things that are outside the box so I wasn't going to bother. My curiosity got the better of me and I ended up turning it on. It wasn't as horrifying as I was worried that it could be. It also wasn't great. I think the family did an amazing job. I only wish that they had shown a family with older children. I also wish the show had not only had negative "experts" on. It certainly could have been better and I'm not sure that I'll recommend it to anyone, but it was there and it wasn't horrible. :) Editing to add a link to Heather's entry on this show.
