I know it is. It must be. It’s just not right for Florida to be so cold!
I spent the morning cleaning the dining room with the back door open. It was a little cold, but the fresh air was wonderful. I had lots of help, too- Ione sat in her high chair, chewed on her sippy cup and talked away, the kittens climbed up the screen door and told me all about every little noise they heard, and Mesa came and went while giving me the play by play on Levi’s Mario game. Olivia was hard at work on the story she and her friend Rachel are writing. I got a lot done and it looks great now. I even got my herb garden started.
The weather reports are predicting temperatures in the low to mid 70s next week- just in time for the return of our weekly unschooling park day. We’re all looking forward to both of those things! I’m ready to get out of this winter funk I’ve been stuck in.
